In celebration of Analyst’s 150th Anniversary we are delighted to be collating online collections covering a range of key areas of analytical science. This collection focuses on sensors for human and planetary health. Sensors are our eyes and ears out there in the world, enabling us to see and hear signals we cannot perceive with our own senses. Sensors changed the way we understand the world around us. They make medical diagnostics cheaper, smaller, and more accessible. They monitor our planet and warn us when things get out of control. While we may not always listen, sensors surely have a special place in how we tackle the many challenges in planetary and human health. Therefore, it is more than appropriate to celebrate those small heroes in measurement science in the year Analyst celebrates 150 years of publication Papers accepted for publication in this collection will join the selected by our Guest Editors. |
