Summary of contents
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a threat to global health, food security and sustainable development. Disease-causing microbes, including bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses, are developing resistance to the drugs we rely on to control them. Chemical scientists in a range of disciplines and sectors are working with others to address the challenge of AMR from several perspectives 鈥� such as materials science, antimicrobial drug discovery, diagnostics and environmental science.
