Xiaowei Zhan

Biography
Xiaowei Zhan obtained a Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from Zhejiang University in 1998. He was then a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of ÀË»¨Ö±²¥, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) from 1998 to 2000, and in 2000 he was promoted to Associate Professor at ICCAS. Dr. Zhan worked as a Research Associate and Research Scientist at the University of Arizona and Georgia Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2006.
He has been a full professor at ICCAS since 2006. From 2012 he has been a full professor of Peking University. His research interests are in the development of materials for organic electronics and photonics. Dr. Zhan has published 390 peer-reviewed papers. His papers were cited more than 53,000 times (Google Scholar). He was named "Highly Cited Researcher" by Clarivate Analytics from 2017 to 2023. He was elected as a Fellow of the ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ (2014) and a Fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society (2024).
