Biography
Prof. Suting Han is an associate professor (tenured) in the Department of Applied Biology and Chemical Technology at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received Ph.D. in Physics and Materials Science from the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at the City University of Hong Kong.
Suting joined Shenzhen University in 2016 as associate professor (tenure track) and was promoted to full professor (tenured) in 2021 and then distinguished professor in 2022. She was a visiting professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan, US in 2019.
Prof. Suting Han has a strong academic record on device fabrication and application in neuromorphic computing and in-sensor computing systems. To date, she has published more than 160 papers as first and corresponding author with 14,700 citations and h-index of 64 (Google Scholar) and hold 3 US and 21 Chinese patents (granted) on functional devices for neuromorphic computing. She is the reviewer for over 50 journal including Science, Nature, Nature Review Physics, Nature Electronics, Science Advances, Nature Communications etc. Stanford University has listed her as the world's top 2% scientists (career-long impact).
