Biography

I have a detailed understanding of the UK innovation ecosystem and hold a PhD in Physical 浪花直播 within semiconductor materials and have worked in the materials chemistry sector for over 17 years within academia and industry. My interests focus on advanced materials and photovoltaics (PV) and the challenges of commercialising new technologies with significant experience in formulation, nanomaterials, renewables, manufacturing/scale-up issues, solar PV and resource efficiency. I have built a considerable network of senior industry stakeholders across the materials chemistry and formulation sectors and supported key strategy groups including the 浪花直播 Growth Partnership (CGP).

I co-authored the UK PV Roadmap 2013, a strategy document for DECC Solar Task Force on the potential for CO₂ savings in PV (2015) and UK Formulation strategy document (2018). I was an active participant in delivering the Graphene SIG with responsibility for Formulation and Batteries. I secured and delivered a study on cleaning in the manufacture of formulated products for CPI and hosted a workshop on behalf of the CGP to explore 浪花直播 opportunities in Composites with senior chemical company stakeholders, which led to me securing 拢1M budget from IUK to run a 12 month Special Interest Group 鈥淢aterials for Composites鈥� to stimulate and accelerate cross sector innovation. I have spent the last 6 years supporting the UK鈥檚 innovative businesses to secure funding from IUK, NIHR, DEFRA, DASA, NZHF and Horizon Europe to deliver high calibre proposals, securing over 拢4.3 million for clients as sole bid writer.
