Biography

Jin Zou is a Chair in Nanoscience at the University of Queensland. He earned his PhD (Materials Physics major) from the University of Sydney, and worked there for 10 years with various prestigious fellowships, including Australia Research Council鈥檚 Australian Postdoctoral Fellowship and Queen Elizabeth II Fellowship. In 2003, Jin moved to the University of Queensland, and won an inaugural Future Fellowship from the Australia Research Council in 2009 (professor level).

闯颈苍鈥檚 research interest has been focused on nanocharaterization (specialized in electron microscopy) for understanding the evolution of nanomaterials and their demonstrated properties, and on the fabrication of high-performance functional nanomaterials for energy applications.
