Cora Young

Biography

Cora Young is a Professor and Guy Warwick Rogers Chair in ÀË»¨Ö±²¥ at York University. Professor Young’s research team focuses on the development and use of state-of-the-science analytical techniques to probe chemical mechanisms relevant to indoor and outdoor air quality, pollutant fate and transport, as well as climate change. She completed her BSc and PhD in chemistry at the University of Toronto, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Boulder, Colorado. She began her independent career as a faculty member at Memorial University in 2012, before moving to York University in 2017.
